Debra Bianculli is a Los Angeles-based artist whose cross-disciplinary work focuses on the human patterns that affect our food supply, the environment and our physical and mental health. Her recent MFA show included paintings, sculpture, and ceramic forms that look at the relationship between basic needs of humans: food and the environment.  The series asks the question; what is the impact on agriculture, when it is removed from its own Agricultural Age, to the age we now live in – the Imagination Age: where, if it can be imagined, it can be created?

In addition to her studio work, Debra is currently teaching art at a private elementary school in Northridge, CA.
